From the director
In the early 1990's, I saw a need for affordable, high quality ALWAYS 1-ON-1 tutoring that wouldn't break parents' bank accounts. I had tutored in small groups at other tutoring companies but saw the students suffer because I shared their time with the 3 to 4 other students--impossibly challenging. Each parent paid for one hour, but each child got about 15 minutes of “individual” so-called 1-ON-1 time by sharing the tutor. I designed Enjoy Learning Center Tutoring for tutors and teachers to tutor one student at a time. We've tutored many students and helped them improve academically--ONE student at a time. It will be an honor to help meet your educational needs. Our motto is, “Always full-lesson 1-ON-1 tutoring—Guaranteed—or the lesson is FREE!”

Our History
The beginning
The Lord inspired Director Trevor Muhammad to act on his desire to become an entrepreneur and to provide needed tutoring services to the community. Mr. Muhammad, who's always been the only owner of Enjoy Learning Center Tutoring, began tutoring clients in their homes in the early 1990s as “Trevor’s Tutoring Service.”
“I knew I had exceptional math skills because I carried a 3.7 grade point average in my math major and a 3.4 overall grade point average from Auburn University at Montgomery, graduating with honors. However, my master's degree in math education from Alabama State University prepared me with the teaching skills I needed to succeed," he says.
Satisfied clients began spreading the news by word-of-mouth. In February of 2002, Enjoy Learning Center, Inc. was established as an official business and hired a second tutor later that year. Since then, Enjoy Learning Center Tutoring has expanded our office space and staff.
GROWTH
From 2002 through 2016, Enjoy Learning Center expanded four times to larger facilities from making house visits with no facility to renting offices spaces of sizes 450, 750, 1100, and now approximately 1800 square feet. In June 2016, Enjoy Learning Center Tutoring relocated to its current facility in the Vaughn Place Shopping Center near the intersection of Vaughn Road and Eastern Boulevard.
How have we experienced over 35 years of success from the days of tutoring in private homes to the current time? We simply offer affordable “Always full-lesson 1-ON-1 tutoring—Guaranteed—or the lesson is FREE!”
No-contracts, 1-ON-1 tutoring established us as an alternative to other tutoring companies. Today, we employ a dedicated team of tutors and support staff to empower students all over the country.
OUR Program
Since the 1990’s, our Montgomery, AL tutoring service has provided only no-contracts, Always full-lesson 1-ON-1 tutoring. We usually tutor in 45-minute blocks of time. our tutors
Most of our tutors are certified teachers, college graduates with masters and doctorate degrees, and working professionals. All are experts in the subjects in which they tutor. As of June 2026, approximately sixty percent of our tutors hold master's degrees or doctorates or are Alabama State Department of Education licensed, certified teachers.

That mission statement sums up what we do. We've been fulfilling our mission as a business for over 35 years. We could offer group tutoring, but we would have to sacrifice quality and increase the time needed to accomplish tutoring goals.
